July 1st through 10th, join me for an awesome blog tour for STILETTOS & STARDUST, run by the lovely Anne of Random Things Tours. I’ll be sharing quotes from the reviews and posts every day, along with links to the original blog posts.

Check out the first two days below…

Are you a plotter or do you go with the flow, as a pantser? I am a firm plantser, meaning that I spend a great deal of time outlining and planning my books but also go with the flow. In the beginning, I create something called a discovery draft, where I write out the scenes and bits of dialogue that stand out to me, along with character profiles, plot outlines, research, and general notes. This gives me the opportunity to follow the flow of the story before even starting my first draft.

Stilettos and Stardust is a really emotional and compelling story and a must for fans of YA romance.

I’m a Hufflepuff and very proud of my house. Don’t mess with the badgers, man.

Eden is rude, difficult and likes to be very much in control, it took me a while to warm to her. But, once I got to know her I could see the beauty of the girl underneath and I was hopeful that all would come good for both her and Noah (who was easy to love right from the very start). The thing I loved most was the way that both characters were equal, there was no damsel in distress.

Eden falls silent, but I can feel her eyes on me. When she does speak, her words are uncomfortably gentle: “Don’t you have goals? Dreams? A desire to succeed? You can’t give up every time something inconvenient happens.”

The character development in this story was amazing. Every single one of the characters learnt something about themselves, but it was done in a realistic believable way which can sometimes be hard to do.

4/5

Yes, I am published, but there are so many more things I intend to do. I have books planned that would be more successful as traditionally published, and I intend to find an agent and pursue that when the time comes. But I also have books that will do well as self-published works, and I am excited about sharing those with the world.

xoxo Dana
